1100 SERIES mobile mains powered Ground Power Unit for aircraft and helicopters with on board 28V DC supplies.
The GPU supplies a peak starting current up to 800A, and continuous current of up to 200A. Mains input supply is suitable for Worldwide use (50 or 60 Hz and all three phase voltages), heavy duty input cables are supplied (see PDF). The output cable is terminated in the standard aircraft/helicopter R65G3B ground power plug.
The GPU has display of voltage and current output, and is suitable for use in all climates and weather conditions from -40 to +50 0 C with IP54 protection. It is easily manoeuvred and designed for operation by a single (unskilled) operator.

1101 SERIES mobile battery powered Ground Power Unit for aircraft and helicopters with on board 28V DC supplies.
The 1101 GPU is similar in function to the 1100 but uses on board Lead Gel batteries as its power source. The peak starting current is up to 1500 Amps and continuous currents of 36 or 83 Amps are available from the two versions (1kW or 2kW). The 1101 comes with standard Aircraft plug terminated output power cable, and inbuilt charger for mains operated recharge.
The capacity of the 1101 is generally 5 starting operations without recharge and a particularly strong feature is the intelligent, computer controlled, fast recharge, which can take place within the aircrafts normally recommended ‘rest' period between starting attempts. The large LCD display unit shows the charging energy available as well as the supplied voltage and current.
Climatic operation of the battery powered unit is -20 to +40 0 C, and the charger is designed to be used from worldwide mains supplies.
The 1101 use can be extended to supplying 28V DC to the aircraft/helicopter during maintenance operations, to preserve the charge of the on board batteries.
