Pacific Power Source Inc. (PPS) is a leading manufacturer of high quality AC power sources. The company's main facility for R&D, manufacturing and service are located in Irvine, California. PPS is part of the PPST group and have sales and support offices in Guildford, Surrey and Shanghai, China.
The company was founded in 1971 and achieved steady growth supplying high performance AC power equipment incorporating advanced technology.
Standard catalogue products manufactured by PPS range in power from 500VA to 625kVA. Products include line conditioners, frequency converters and programmable power test equipment.
PPS standard product lines include:
1. MS Series - High performance, high power frequency converters and programmable AC test power systems covering the range from 62.5kVA to 625kVA.
2. AMX Series - High Frequency, Linear AC test power systems. AMX units can be programmable or manual and cover the power range from 500VA to 30kVA. The output frequency range for the AMX series is 20Hz to 5,000Hz.
3. ASX Series - Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) or Switch Mode AC test power systems. ASX units can be programmable or manual and cover the power range fom 1.5VA to 12kVA. The output frequency range for the ASX series is 45Hz to 1,200Hz.
It should also be noted that PPS pride themselves in their ability to design and build custom products including DC/AC power sources, current sources and fully integrated ATE systems to the most exacting customer specifications.
