Caltest Instruments Ltd are pleased to announce that we are now UK distributor for ZERA GmbH. Our Managing Director Simon Harman visited ZERA’s HQ in Königswinter, Germany, last week to meet with ZERA’s Business Development Manager, Felix Gall.
ZERA develops and manufactures devices for the production, measurement, testing and calibration of electrical systems with a focus on meter and instrument transformer test systems alongside e-mobility solutions (Testing of electric vehicle charging stations).
Formed in 1920 as the Zähler Eich und Reparatur Anstalt, or Meter Calibration and Repair Institute in English, ZERA evolved from a meter calibration service provider into a highly-specialised manufacturer of testing technology.
Caltest Instruments, as ZERA’s UK distributor, now supplies a number of the company’s products.
Firstly, there’s the MT range of portable reference meters – the single phase MT10 and the three-phase MT30. With a 5.9” monochrome screen, the ZERA MT10 and MT30 provide convenient on-site measurement with system load.
For more advanced, remote on-site testing of AC and DC charging stations, Caltest can supply ZERA’s EMOB32, EMOB80, and EMOB200 e-mobility test cases. The EMOB32 measures current up to 32A AC, the EMOB80 can measure electrical current up to 80A AC, whilst the versatile EMOB200 measures up to 32A AC and 200A DC current.
