Ground Bond Tester

Ground bond testers verify the integrity of protective earth connections by applying high current (typically 10A to 30A) and measuring the resulting resistance. A low, consistent ground bond resistance confirms that the earth path will carry fault current safely in the event of an insulation failure. These instruments are required for safety certification to standards including IEC 62368-1, IEC 60601, and EN 60204-1, and are used in both production-line testing and periodic safety verification.
